Terms & Conditions — Toronto Kids Fashion Week Inc.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, submitting a registration form, or participating in any Toronto Kids Fashion Week Inc. ("TKFW," "we," "us," or "our") event or program, you ("User," "Parent," "Guardian," or "Participant") agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. About Toronto Kids Fashion Week

Toronto Kids Fashion Week Inc. is a children's fashion event organization based in Markham, Ontario, Canada. We host fashion shows, auditions, model training sessions, and designer catalog shoots for child models and participants.

3. Eligibility & Registration

Participants must be minors (under 18 years of age) represented by a parent or legal guardian.
All registrations must be completed by a parent or legal guardian who is at least 18 years of age.
By submitting a registration form, the parent/guardian confirms they have the legal authority to enroll the child and consent to these Terms on the child's behalf.
TKFW reserves the right to accept or decline any registration at its sole discretion.

4. SMS Text Message Terms

Consent to Receive SMS: By checking the SMS consent checkbox on our registration form, you expressly consent to receive automated SMS text messages from Toronto Kids Fashion Week Inc. at the mobile number provided. These messages may include:

Audition confirmations and reminders
Training schedule updates
Venue and event location information
Attendance confirmations
Show day instructions
Registration updates and event announcements

Message Frequency: Approximately 2–4 messages per month. Frequency may vary based on your level of event participation.

Message & Data Rates: Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. TKFW is not responsible for any charges incurred from your carrier.

Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. To resubscribe, reply START.

Help: Reply HELP to any SMS message for assistance, or contact us directly using the information in Section 12.

Carrier Disclaimer: TKFW and its SMS service providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS consent is not a condition of participation in any TKFW event or program.

No Third-Party Marketing: Your mobile number and SMS consent will not be sold, transferred, or shared with any third party for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Photo & Media Release

By registering for any TKFW event, the parent/guardian grants TKFW a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to photograph and/or video record the participant during TKFW events and use such media for promotional, marketing, and educational purposes, including on our website and social media channels. If you do not wish to grant this license, please notify us in writing prior to the event.

6. Code of Conduct

All participants, parents, and guardians agree to:

Treat all TKFW staff, volunteers, designers, and fellow participants with respect
Follow all venue rules and TKFW event guidelines
Arrive on time for scheduled auditions, rehearsals, and shows
Not engage in any disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behaviour
TKFW reserves the right to remove any participant or attendee who violates this code without refund

7. Fees & Refunds

Registration fees, training fees, or participation fees (if applicable) are outlined at the time of application
All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by TKFW
TKFW reserves the right to modify fees with reasonable notice

8. Health & Safety

Parents/guardians are responsible for informing TKFW of any medical conditions, allergies, or special needs that may affect their child's participation
TKFW will make reasonable accommodations but cannot guarantee specific arrangements
TKFW is not liable for any injury or illness sustained during participation in events

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TKFW, its officers, directors, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:

Participation in any TKFW event or program
Use of our website or registration forms
Delayed or failed SMS message delivery
Any technical errors or service interruptions

10. Intellectual Property

All content on our website and materials, including logos, images, text, and event concepts, are the intellectual property of Toronto Kids Fashion Week Inc. and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
